nothing to dislike about it but I found it easier to color by taking the book apart and doing them that way. I highly recommend this book!!
I took a chance on my 11 year old grandson liking this and being able to focus on the pattern. Well, he loved it and it wasn't even electronic !

Very good quality color book.
I like this book because the paper is good and one sided. Not too many colors in the color palette (22). So not overwhelming or too few colors. The color palette is on the back cover with the numbers and colors shown. Each coloring page has a list of the colors & number written (not the actual color). The spaces for coloring are a good size not to be tedious, although not overly easy either. The numbers are big enough to see and light enough to be covered.Good variety of Christmas Mosaic pictures. This book also has two free pictures, one from Animal Mosaic and one from Travel Mosaic books.I do wish every picture had a finished thumbnail-type colored example for a helpful reference. The one finished example on the front cover does contain every color(1 through 22), which is helpful.I think this is a fun book for Christmas coloring!
Sunlife’s books never cease to amaze me! I think this is one of their best yet, though I have never found one that I don’t yet enjoy. I LOVE Christmas and coloring, especially color-by-numbers, so imagine my excitement when I learned that Sunlife had come out with such a nice mosaic color-by-numbers solely about Christmas! I had actually been looking around for an Advent calendar, as we all know how popular these have become lately, for an adult colorer. I wasn’t successful until I thought of this book. With 25 pictures, it is the perfect length to use as a countdown to Christmas coloring book, and it’s much cheaper than some of the other Advent calendars on the market.It is so fun to watch each book come to life and fill with color. I often went in numerical order when coloring, which made it so I started with black, gray, brown, etc. After a few numbers/colors, I could really see the picture pop as colors came together to create something wonderful! Each page uses the same 22 colors, which makes for bright, cheery pictures - perfect for Christmas! The pages are backed with black paper, which also lists the color names and numbers. You will learn the colors as you go, since the numbering is consistent, but it’s so nice to have that guide to refer to so you don’t have to flip back and forth. I used both Crayola colored pencils and Super Tip markers, and both looked great! I didn’t experience bleeding through even with markers, but I did put a shield page in between just in case.The pages are detailed enough that they take a good amount of time and look like a beautiful stained-glass window when done, but the spaces are not so small that the colored pencil must be extremely sharp to fit into the space or the perfect angle must be achieved to not spread color outwards. It was the perfect combination of some smaller shapes and bigger areas, but nothing that will kill your markers.I have attached pictures of completed pages, a work-in-progress, a blank page, and the color guides. This would make the perfect Christmas gift under the tree, as a Road-trip activity to keep the kids (or anyone!) sane while traveling for the holidays, or a special project for family to do to spend some extra time together. You will be so impressed with the final results. Don’t delay - Christmas is coming. ‘Tis the season for festive coloring!
This book is super cute! I am really enjoying all of the books by Sunlife drawing! Mosaic color by numbers are fun in general but a whole book of Christmas designs???... umm yes please! It is definitely putting me in the holiday spirit and I can’t stop working on it!
A few pictures from Christmas Mosaics, Sunlife Drawing’s latest book. I just love all their books. I colored these with Copics. Because all their color by number books use the same numbers for the colors, once you have which marker (or pencil) you want to use for each color, all you have to do is write them down and you don’t have to try to figure out which colors to use for each book. I also used a silver metallic gel pen to color in all the lines so if the alcohol marker spreads outside of the lines, the gel pen covers it up anyways.
